The Island welcomes other clubs and regularly plays friendly matches. Please contact Guy Thorn, Fixtures Secretary, if you would like to arrange a friendly between clubs.

 

Wolsey Road & Coach Parties

Coach parties are encouraged to drop off passengers on the North side of the river.

 

This is the closest point to an Island ferryboat landing on the Caversham/north side of the Thames.

Parking in Wolsey Road Caversham on Sundays is currently possible.

​

Drivers may need to approach from the west, the Caversham town centre side, allowing a swing into Wolsey Road. On other days parking may be found available in Tessa Rd, off Richfield Avenue on the Reading side of the river.

 

Visitors may wish to eat locally and will find good food and real ale at the Fox & Hounds, on Gosbrook Road and within easy walking distance of the coach. Alternatively, there is Warings Bakery or the Alto Lounge on Church Street.
